Pro-constitution campaigners begin to fight-back
Written by Libertas

An Open-Europe led campaign launched last week in the UK (as mentioned here on ConstitutionWatch last week) has been getting big coverage on tv, radio and in the press in the UK. As we observed last week, what made the grouping interesting was that it was a coming together of pro-europeans and euro-skeptics who found a common cause in wanting the constitution reform treaty brought to the people for popular vote.

In response to IWantAReferendum, a pro-campaign called the Coalition for the Reform Treaty has been setup, they are arguing that the treaty will lead to a more efficient, democratic and effective decision making. This much delayed response by the  ‘pro’ community is being done as the ‘anti’ campaign begins to gather momentum and support.
