A referendum on the European Constitution Reform Treaty is now unlikely after the Dutch Council of State advised the Dutch Government that a referendum is unnecessary. The ‘Section 22' report by the council has said that no legal need for a referendum since the new treaty does not include “constitutional” element. Read more from EUObserver . |
